K & M Pony Parties and Petting Zoo

   K & M Pony Parties and Petting Zoo is a licensed family owned and operated business that is also fully insured.  We are located in Mulberry, Florida (Polk County)operated by : Karen Culp, Mike Culp, Ashley Prevratil, Justin Culp, Debbie Prevratil ( my mom has passed away 4/27/2020 RIP) ,and my dad Charles Prevratil ( who passed away on 1/22/22 RIP Dad you was my rock and helped with all the horse's taught me so much.) Josh Ingram (daughters fiancé) My grandkids Dusty & Kylee also help at all parties too. I do often have a few of my close friends & family members come out with us to do events. And at times they are taking out a second truck and trailer to serve more families for their special day. Anyone that comes out with us has extensive training or owns their own horses as well as assist us in training horses here.

   We offer pony parties for birthdays, family reunions, church and corporate events, grand openings, conventions, wedding receptions, holiday parties ,and much more.

     Make sure you always call Trina's Trains N Things to Come To Your Parties with us. And Lakeland Moonwalk for All Your Bounce House Needs. They are Fully Licensed & Insured to do all events. We have Face Painting, Ultimate Petting Zoo, and pony & horse rides.

   And Captain Hunter our Miniature Donkey will be traveling with us in the 2012 year. We own a small farm with our horses, ponies, rabbits, sheep, goats, and dogs, cats, chickens, a miniature donkey. 

                 We have over 40 years of equestrian exp in Polk County.

   My children have been riding horses since they were able to walk and they also compete in competitions and shows.  Our youngest son rides rodeo's and is currently riding bulls, his dream is to be in the PBRA one day becoming a professional bull rider. He also runs barrels and poles & ropes & goat ties.

   Justin has taken 4 Reserve Championships in 2 Rodeo Circuits he runs in 2011 & 2012 & 2013 & 2014. Justin was the Open 4D Barrel Racing Champion for 2012 with the SBRA Barrel Racing Circuit in Zolfo Springs Florida.. And the Open Pole Bending Champion for 2012.. He is 2012 & 2013 Reserve Champion for CYRA, Open 2D Pole Bending Champion for SBRA 2013. Open 3D 2013 5th Place Barrel Champion, Youth 1D 2013 3rd Place Champion, Youth Barrels 2013 2D Reserve Champion, Youth 3D 2013 Barrel 3rd Place Champion, Open Pole Bending Champion for 2013.2014 Justin has now won: Open 4D 4th place tie in Barrels, Youth 2D Champion Barrels, Youth 3D 3rd place Barrel Champion, Poles 1D 3rd Place, Poles 2D 3rd Place.

2015 Justin has decided to do somethings a little different with several of his horse's he owns. He is now competing with the Bay Area Bandits Mounted Shooting Posse. He competes all over Florida, Georgia, Southern States, Local matches are held at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds in Dover Florida, each 1st Saturday of the month at 10:00 am until about 2:00 pm and during the summer June, July, August the matches are held at the Tampa Fairgrounds in Tampa Florida. Come on out and watch this young man shoot 10 balloons at a high speed on horse back shooting a 45 revolver pistol. 2019 matches are now in Bartow Florida please contact me for any info on this.

JUSTIN HAS SO FAR DONE GREAT IN THE MOUNTED SHOOTING WORLD RIDING AGAINST THE ADULTS.. HE AND HIS HORSE MAGIC MAYO ARE RIGHT NOW 14TH IN THE NATION FOR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR for 2016 ..

Justin is also still rodeoing this year but with only 1 association in Dade City Florida Sassers Rodeo Association where he is riding bulls, roping, barrels, poles & goat tying. The rodeos are the last Friday night of each month at 8 pm. If your family wants to come watch it is a lot of fun you are always welcome at any of our events. This year 2015 SBRA Justin took home another youth 1d saddle in poles,2nd in youth 1 &2 d in barrels, and in the Open division against the adults he brought home open 4d 1st with a new blanket for his horse, belt buckles and lots of great new headstalls and other things for his horses.

Also has several other placements from 2nd-4th place in barrels, goat tying and roping and bulls. He runs against other teens in his age group and adults in many other organizations from NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association, Southern Barrel Horse Association,& Various other places)

   Justin works very hard to earn his own entry fee money to show his horse's (My Girl) & (Fergie- Smokin Hot Weedo ), My Main Man Magic Mayo, And he runs the NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association) and travels all over the state barrel racing his Barrel horse.

Justin has now joined another rodeo association for the 2017 season Central Florida Rodeo Association and running his baby Smokin Hot Weedo aka Fergie and My girl.. We wish him lots of luck this rodeo season as well as seeking a State title in the barrel racing world with NBHA this year.

Justin Culp made it to the Florida State NBHA Finals on his baby Smokin Hot Weedo aka Fergie for the 2017 year. In the open they placed 4d 1st place, which qualified them back to the State Finals where he ended up 4d 6th place in the State. This is a very hard race week on riders and horses as there was 860 entries here. We are very Proud of them for this major accomplishment in life. 

2018 JUSTIN MADE IT TO THE NBHA YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS with Fergie, in round 1 they ended up 32 in the 3d round 2 they hit a barrel, they are preparing for another round for 2019 now. 

2019 Justin is your CMSA Fl Peacemaker state of Fl Mounted Shooting Champion in the M1 division & the 2018/19 state mounted shooting champion for the Bay Area Bandits in the M1 division on Mayo

2019 Justin went to the NBHA Youth World Championship Finals in Perry Ga. Where he competed against 386 of the toughest teens in the USA, Fergie and Justin ended up 50th in the 2d division and 76 overall. 

2020 was a slow year here for us, in 2021 Justin was Open pole bending champion and the 4d champion with Fergie ( Smokin Hot Weedo) in the Legends in the Making Rodeo Association. Then went tot he Open Worlds Finals NBHA in Perry Georgia to become 46 in the entire world with Fergie Smokin Hot Weedo. Running barrels against the best in the entire world that was there and only so many are chosen to go for this honor to be the best. We are Proud to have a World Champion in our barn and proud of our son for that title too.

   We carry our own two million dollar insurance policy in our name and have it with us at all times for you to view. We can also have you added as an additional insured if needed and this is done by your expense, I do not pay for them, because coming to your facility 1 time is not justice for me to pay that fee. I will give you my agents name and phone number to call to get that form filled out and emailed or faxed to you. Must ask for the information 3-5 days prior to the event.

Even if there is a rain cancellation 

or if a vehicle breaks down or 

emergency happens with us or 

the party booking us. We can not

 plan the acts of God but do our 

best to fix things as fast as we can.

 Diesal trucks are very costly to 

keep maintained. 

Cancellation policy- 

We are booked many months in advance.

Cancellations must be for inclement

weather only on the day of the party, or full

price is still due.

 Inclement weather is verified rain or hail. You must call before we leave our farm with direct contact with owner. Or if we are experiencing bad weather here and are not able to leave in the time we need to before your event is scheduled, we will call you also.

The deposit is used for another event within the year of date of booking this event. I can not control mother nature and bad weather interruptions or the acts of God.

We will do our best to get to your event as safely as possible with the animals and insure safety of all your guest and your children under conditions favorable. You must remember we are pulling animals that have to stand on 4 feet in the back of a moving trailer and if the roads are under water it may not be safe for us to travel at that time. I have to adhere to all state & county laws & regulations & USDA Laws while traveling to your special events for safety of everyone involved. 

We will get you booked for the next available date and time and remember we do travel 7 days a week and can come during a week day or night to make up your special event also. We have 7 children and also know this can be a tough call to make. But I am about 100% safety of the kids and animals at your special event. 

Bad Weather Interruption --If your party is started and we are interrupted by rain, we can try to wait it out, move to a garage(petting zoo)(face painting), etc. Full price is still due.

IF WE ATTEND YOUR EVENT AND THERE IS ANY ILLEGAL DRUG ACTIVITY GOING ON WE WILL ASK FOR IT TO STOP UNTIL WE LEAVE THE EVENT.

WE NOW REQUEST THAT THERE BE AN ADULT AVAILABLE DURING THE ENTIRE PONY PARTY TO LIFT EACH CHILD UPON THE BACK OF THE HORSE, I MYSELF HAVE SUSTAINED AN INJURY FROM LIFTING HEAVIER CHILDREN AND WE NO LONGER CAN DO THIS AND PER NEW INSURANCE REGULATIONS.
